Meet J-Liz
Artist. Creator. Visionary.
Hello!
My name is Jordan Gosnell, or J-Liz, and welcome to my Portfolio Website!

As a professional artist, I have dedicated my whole life to the arts and am constantly seeking new and innovative methods to add to my skills. I invite you to explore my digital portfolio and view some of my pieces, what inspired them, and learn more about me in the process.
Most Recent Works
3d Models, Rigged Models, Character Concepts, Storyboards, Renders
Senior Exhibition
A series of works made to depict what life is and was like for me including my fellow show artists.

The title, Me Them Us, is a play on how the three artists featured describe their work. My work in this show depicts what life has been like for me, while another artist created pieces to depict her peers. The third artist's designs essentially celebrate the marriages of couples.
Soothing The Demon
A depiction of a demon, a black cat, and a little girl reading a spell book together. The little girl has befriended this frightening creature and soothed it by telling it stories and showing it all of the the spells that she knows.
Repressed Wrath
A depiction of a pack of snarling dogs within a silhouette of a man in a rocking chair calmly smoking a pipe. This piece is a representation of anger and a desire to protect and strike back at those who hurt and bully. The man in the chair appears calm and content though his past is a continuing presence.
Which One Is Worse Off?
A depiction of a woman made up of clouds, who is weeping on top of a storm system. Below the clouds is a tiny lit barn house with whom the viewer might also sympathise.
Appearances Are Deceiving
When Reason Walks Blind
A depiction of a partially nude woman with her face wrapped in some material. Not only does this blind her, it cuts off her oxygen, as well. As the viewer looks down, the image no longer portrays reality, as the skin turns bright pink. The paint below her becomes more irrational with each of her blind steps.
The Pursuit of Happiness Attracts Predators
A depiction of red-eyed crows picking apart a lonely scarecrow piece by piece. This is a symbolic representation of depression and what it feels like to live with it.
Self Portrait
A depiction of a hand within an empty picture frame, slightly reaching out and taking hold of it. This is a depiction of my lackluster ability to trust and the slow process for me to open up. Instead of a full portrait, just a hesitant hand is shown.
Vanam Rejectionem
Baseless rejection
Recedere Ab Abusu
Retreat From Abuse
Damnum Potentia
Loss of Potential
Only So Far
A painting depicting two angels dragging a critically wounded man on the ground. It symbolizes the fact that medication can keep you going with good intention, but it alone cannot truly heal.
